My current long-form writing project features a 22-year-old eco-heroine who's grown up during a zombie virus pandemic. She dreams of reforesting Earth so that its natural defences against these kinds of outbreaks are restored. Before I began writing full-time in the fall of 2023, I ran a wellness business which offered hypnotherapy sessions, yoga classes, and writing workshops. Before that, I taught high school English and Creative Writing for 25 years. When I'm not writing, I'm reading about trees and dreaming of a better world.
